The Not Alone project was born from the understanding of the generation gap that exists in our community and in other communities in the area. During the war, the veterans of the moshav moved to a boutique hotel in Jerusalem, which slowly became a kind of unofficial ‘supportive housing’. The benefits that arose sharpened the need for ‘togetherness’ of the veteran generation. And so the “Not Alone” project was born.
The project brings together volunteers in various fields of knowledge with veterans who are happy to meet. This is how we meet for a joint game of chess, to study the weekly Torah, for digital guidance, to play music together and much more.
