Yuval Nir fell in the line of duty during the war in Gaza. Born and raised in Kibbutz Migdal Oz, Yuval later built a home in Kfar Etzion with his wife, Ayala, and their five children.
Yuval was a rare soul—possessing a powerful and resilient personality, yet remaining deeply gentle, sensitive, and caring. To instill these values in his home, Yuval founded the family tradition of “Ein Tova” (The Good Eye). Every day, each family member took turns sharing an instance where they saw the good in others. Yuval was unwavering in this daily practice; if someone missed their turn, they were expected to share two instances the following day.
In loving memory of Yuval and his legacy of positivity, we have launched the “Yuval’s Good Eye” project.
